Danube Monarchy tour

6 days/5 nights

Budapest, Vienna, Szentendre, Pécs, Villány

  Day 1:

 Arrival to Budapest. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel. Free time. „Budapest by night” sightseeing bus tour with a boat tour on the Danube.  

Day 2:

 Sightseeing tour in Budapest. During the excursion you will see the Castle of Buda that is included in the list of World Heritage, the Royal Palace, the Matthias Church, the Fisherman’s Bastion and the Parliament. You can also enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the city from the observation points of hill Gellért. In addition, you will visit the most beautiful square of the capital - Heroes’ Square, the Vajdahunyad Castle and lots of other sights. Lunch in the “Trofea” buffet restaurant. Free time.    

Day 3:

 Breakfast. Transfer to Pecs – the cultural capital of Europe. Sightseeing tour in Pecs: mysterious tombs from the Roman period, Turkish minaret and djami, Zsolnay china factory, Synagogue, National Theatre. 

 Excursion to Villány, one of the most famous wine regions of Hungary. Wine tasting at Wunderlich winery – one of the biggest and most exclusive wine cellars of Europe.

 Transfer back to Budapest. 

Day 4:

 Breakfast. Excursion to Vienna. Sightseeing tour in Vienna that includes visiting of the State Opera, the City Hall, the Hofburg Imperial 

Residence, the Natural History Museum. Excursion to Schonbrunn Castle– the summer residence of Maria Theresia.

Transfer back to Budapest.

Day 5:

 After breakfast excursion to Szentendre – the city of painters, museums and the centre of the Hungarian Eastern Orthodox religion. Excursion 

to the Marzipan museum. Transfer back to Budapest. Lunch. Pedestrian tour on the street Vaci. During your free time you can visit other museums, shopping malls and thermal baths.

Day 6:

 Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. 

 

Total price: 690 EUR / person (20 person group)
